The lymphatic system is made up of lymph nodes and lymph vessels that drain fluids from your body’s tissues. The lymph system does not have a pump like the circulatory system which is why we need to help the system work properly. So, first things first, what are some of the signs of a poorly working lymph system:

· Bloating

· Swelling of the feet and hands

· Brain fog

· Digestive issues

· Sinus infections

· Skin issues – dry & itchy

· Enlarged lymph nodes

· Sore and stiff upon waking

· Excess weight

· Etc.

How to enhance your lymphatic system:

· Drink more water – staying hydrated is important to your overall well-being. If you are dehydrated it slows everything down. Our lymphatic system contains 95% water, so an easy fix for a sluggish lymph system is to drink water.

· Exercise – get moving on a daily basis this helps the lymphatic system flush out toxins as well as improving your overall health.

· Dry brushing – this is simple to do, get a firm bristle brush, do not wet it, and lightly and gently brush from the feet upward to the heart. It’s important to brush towards the heart so the lymph can be cleaned. If you are not sure how to do this, there are many videos on Google showing how.

· Healthy Diet – eat your fruits and veggies, this helps our entire system to function properly

· Massage and/or Foot Zoning – both practices help move the lymphatic system and flush out toxins.
